Handel's Messiah
performed by
Sixteen Choir

with
Carolyn Sampson, Catherine Wyn-Rogers, Tom Randle and Michael George.
7.30pm 7.00pm The Sixteen and its conductor, Harry Christophers, are no strangers to the Cathedral, having performed there in recent years, but this is the first time they will come to Lincoln with their own orchestra, The Symphony of Harmony and Invention as well as an international cast of soloist.. This very special concert will be in memory of Tony Wright, a Lincoln-born, former chorister at the Cathedral. Proceeds from the concert will go to Macmillan Cancer Relief in Lincoln for which there will be a retiring collection following the performance.
17th to 18th December Carols by Candlelight 7.30pm.
19th December Lincolnshire Health Service Carol Service 7.30pm (band playing from 7.20pm) With the Nurses Choir in attendance and lessons read by members of the NHS. This service is normally graced by the presence of both the Lord Bishop of Lincoln and the Dean. The band plays before and after the service.
